Terms of Use
Last updated: October 31, 2026
Agreement
These terms are between you and Lemos Navegacao e Transporte Fluvial Ltda (CNPJ 60.197.642/0001-54), Av. Andre Araujo 2721, Edif Workspace by Embassy, Pavmto Superior, Sala 449 Coworking, Manaus, Amazonas 69060-000, Brazil ("we"). By downloading or using Nilo you agree to them. If you don't, don't use the app.
Your licence to use the app comes from Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add to it. If they conflict on the licence, Apple's agreement applies.
What Nilo does
Nilo helps you keep a daily routine and limits your access to the apps you choose to protect, using Apple's Screen Time features. The blocking runs on your phone and depends on the Screen Time access you grant in iOS. You can remove that access at any time in iOS Settings, which stops the blocking. Nilo is a tool to support your own decisions; it is not a medical or therapeutic service.
Subscriptions
- Nilo requires a subscription, sold yearly or monthly through the App Store at the price shown there in your currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Apple handles billing and refunds under its own terms; we cannot issue refunds ourselves.
- There is no free trial.
Your account and data
Nilo has no account of its own. Your routine lives on your device and, when you are signed in to iCloud, in your own iCloud. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer, resell or tamper with the app, and don't use it in a way that breaks the law or Apple's App Store terms.
Intellectual property
Nilo, its guardian character, artwork and code belong to Lemos Navegacao e Transporte Fluvial Ltda.
No warranties
To the extent the law allows, Nilo is provided as is. We don't promise it will be free of errors, that blocking will never be bypassed, or that it will fit your needs.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using Nilo, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the subscription in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.
Termination
You can stop using Nilo at any time by deleting it; cancel the subscription separately in your Apple Account. We may end these terms if you break them.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. Continuing to use Nilo after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to consumer rights that apply where you live. Disputes go to the courts with jurisdiction under those rules, including the courts where you live when consumer law gives you that right.
